Africa News

Preamble: -

Our Lord Jesus Christ before his ascension to heaven commissioned the church He built to make disciples by teaching what God had commanded. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. Mathew 28:19,20.

It is on this premise that Christian Bible Centre has taken up the burden to bridge this gap. The entire period of Jesus ministry was occupied with training his disciples who in turn would teach the world.

For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you. John 13:15; The disciples too requested to be taught as John taught his disciples, and I quote, And it came to pass, that, as he was praying in a certain place, when he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him, Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples. Luke 11:1,2.

Teaching is a major component in church Ministry, it is for this reason, Christian Bible Centre in partnership with Church of God International, Christian Educational Ministries, Church of God Network, and Tabitha Outreach Foundation seeks to implement this noble idea.

CHRISTIAN BIBLE CENTRE

January 2024 intake in progress

CBC offers you the solution you have been looking for, a curriculum that shapes you into becoming a servant leader rather than the boss syndrome. This gives you an opportunity to become a minister in the Church of God International, by further undergoing through a Ministerial Apprenticeship Program (MAP) or Ministerial Integrated Program (MIP), what an opportunity!

Many African countries, just like Kenya have laid down stringent rules that will see many gifted leaders locked out of this noble mission, commissioned by Jesus Christ. The new rules would require clerics to submit certificates of good conduct and their theological training certificates are now ready for implementation.

The Religious Societies Rules published by the Attorney General‘s Office in 2016 also require that all religious organizations submit their constitution showing statement of their doctrine of faith. The rules affect imams, pastors, rabbis and other religious leaders.

Any religious society in Kenya must have its constitution with programmes, ministries, charitable activities and education activities undertaken by the religious society and details of persons coordinating these activities.

It is therefore on this premise that Christian Bible Centre is obligated to facilitate and realize the above said goal as commanded. The training model is ‘Face to Face training popularly referred to as ‘contact training’ this can be easily achieved using the ready materials already developed by both Church God International and Christian Educational Ministries.
